Medical service
The medical service in costa Rica is exemplary for Latin American countries. In and around San Jose there are special hospitals. Among other things for cosmetic operations, which usually offer their services for favourable prices in comparison with Europe and the United States. San Jose has a number of English/German-speaking physicians. In the country the emergency care is usually covered by the red cross.
